Sweet * Beloved * Orange fruit * Of the Sun
That would be our goldfish. He (she?) was supposed to get a name on Saturday since it has lived a whole 10 days (unlike it's small friend, who never got named.)
So first of all, this goldfish freaks me out. Pretty sure that some morning I am going to come down the ladder from the loft and find it laying on the carpet. Also, it has an evil habit of floating there, motionless, so I have to stare at it until I am assured that it is not dead. Although... if for some reason it is still alive at thanksgiving, I'm not taking it home with me.
But! The most frustrating thing about this fish?? It never does anything!!!! I have been sitting here writing a paper and the whole time little sweetbelovedorangefruitofthesun has just been drifting around the bowl. It doesn't even blink. It doesn't know what writing a paper IS. And it will certainly never accomlish anything with it's life.

Oh, Heather.
ReplyDeleteYou have never liked fish, have you.
yeah, fish are kinda boring, aren't they. unless of course you have fish and my sister michelle in the same room. they scare her to death, for some reason unknown to me. but at least there's never a dull moment when you put the two together. :P
ReplyDeleteyou should have definantly gone with the newt. they eat butterscotch candies....:)
ReplyDeleteheather, you are so funny--I think that you are deeply fascinated with the fish, somewhere deep down inside of your heart, but you just don't want to admit it. and that's okay if you don't want to take the fish at thanksgiving, holly likes the fish~~maybe she'll take it! love, ange
