Haircut HELL!!!

Today I was the paying recipient of the worst haircut I have ever received. I said I needed my bangs trimmed, and I'm not exactly sure what happened but it must have been an accident-- if she INTENDED me to look like this there must be underlying issues of ... bangs hatred? jealousy of my once longer-than-inch bangs? SADISM??

First I sat there in horrified silence. Then I asked if she could "blend them in" a little, but she said she didn't want to cut any more off my other layers. Next I sat there being violently opposed to my hair and wondered if it actually looked that bad. It did. We left, I called Angela, and unsure of what emotion to try next I laughed and cried all the way home.

I would post a picture, but I am afraid of provoking the same response in you as I had myself. Also, I'm not sure I want all of your written evaluations--- the verbal ones have been enough. Orchestra tour leaves for Colorado in a few days, but Sara says not to worry because nobody in Denver knows what I used to look like. Plus, I have a whole week and a half before my roommates see me. I think I look kindof like my cousin Marta ... you know that stage where kids think they can cut their own hair and nobody will notice? That's Marta. My mom says I look like I'm seven. Holly said many things, most of which I have forgiven her for. She also expressed her excitement that now I can burn my forehead with a curling iron again.

Dad said he wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't said anything. Thankyou, Father. Have I mentioned how much I love that man?

  1. I'm so sorry to hear that!
Also, morbidly curious what it looks like. Could you send me a picture?

  2. Well, if you send Hannah a photo you must send it to me also or just post it on here. You could always wear a cute headband (I did that for KJ once when Nick or maybe it was Tony cut her bangs when she was in Preschool, it worked). If it makes you feel any better KJ got a haircut yesterday and I didn't tell her but her bangs are "Shorter" then I like them to be. Be thankful you have a beautiful face and smile cause that's what guys look at first. :) Have a safe trip. I love Colorado, take some pictures of the mountains for me and post them. I haven't been there since KJ was 18 months old.

  4. I didn't really notice either, but I did notice that your hair looked different.
I'm sorry it didn't turn out like you wanted.

Q: What's the difference between a good haircut and a bad one?
